Areographs refers to areography, the geography of Mars.  These images, characteristic of Martian typography, were pulled from two sets of expired Polaroid 600 film packages. No cameras were used to create the exposures—only time and chemical decay. The Polaroids are found objects shown in the same order of their packaging.
