As you can imagine, Netflix has a giant comms team with a lot of varying priorities and stories to tell. Our mission? Celebrating the internal experience design (XD) team. Part of celebrating also meant promoting the team to other parts of the organization and acknowledging their work. So we built a newsletter! I pulled inspiration from not only the team’s own design identity, but also looked toward “cute” and “energetic” illustration styles that reflected the team’s culture and vibe. And because the core purpose of this vehicle was to celebrate the team's talents and doings, naming it “Go Off!” just made sense.
